Update

Just a quickie... I have things to do today (esp Perl). I'm at home as I have a bit of a headache.

The game on Friday was real fun. I played for the teachers/parents. The game ended 2-1 to us. I was up front and brought on 10 minutes in (we swapped around a lot) and scored in the first half, after hitting the post early on. In the second half I was up front again but hardly got any service (even though I was running around non stop). It was good exercise and I think everyone enjoyed it.

Homecoming was in the evening. It was just like a disco I suppose, so the younger guys were enjoying themselves, whereas we were all kinda bored and looking forward to leaving. Eventually we did leave and we headed to Peddlars (again) where we sta and talked until we left for home. Some of the guys were planning on going out to Cape Town, but in the end apparently went to a resataurant in Hout Bay (we were dropping people home at this point and would have gone out to meet them if we'd have known they were just down the road when we got back home).

On Saturday, the family met up with Tapio, a Finn who is a representative for YLE (Finnish BBC) here in South Africa, and his Norwegian wife and her relative. We went to Muizenberg and drove along Boyes Drive, a road along the side of a mountain to try and spot whales. There were a few there, closer than last time we came. We then headed to a restaurant nearby.

The rest of the day we spent at Jamie's, where he had a few people round.

Yesterday was mainly spent at home not doing much (ie: watching Father Ted). Milja and I took India to the market to ride the hourses there, and we got chips from Hout Bay beach for lunch. The best chips around.
