Key to the problem

I did a small but very annoying thing this morning. As is custom nowadays, I was helping Milja get ready for school by collecting her various books and stuff needed for the day and putting stuff in her bag. Through routine, I put in the keys to Minna's car.

About 30mins after the guys had left, Minna came in asking for the keys. I suddenly remembered in horror that they were with Milja.

I was planning on staying at home today. Tonight is the homecoming dance/event thing, and all I have so far is black trousers and a white shirt (I am looking for a brown jumper or tie to match Milja's black dress with brown accesories). The second reason I was not going in with Minna and Heikki is that the football game I am playing in today starts at 3pm, so this would mean leaving from the university at about 2pm, cutting M&H's work days by about an hour (I know how they love to stay at work!).

Minna spent a good 20-30 minutes this morning looking for a spare key to the car, trying to get it going without the alarm going off, and ringing the car dealer for help. I had to get ready in 5 mins so I could get to work with M&H, which meant no shower/breakfast/lie in :)

Now we have to leave at 1:30pm to go via Blue Route Mall so I can fit in a bit of a shop before the game. The plan then is to rush home, have a shower, get dressed for homecoming, then dart back to Constantia for a meal (at a sushi place, ergh), to the dance, then out with everyone to Cape Town.
