Ratanga Junction

Yesterday, Milja, Matias, Harrison and I went to the theme park in Cape Town, Ratanga Junction. Milja and I had never been before and today it is closing for Autumn.

It is a nice place, the rides all look the part and it's only R100 (about £7) to get in. But, walking around, there didn't seem to be many rides. We walked for ages to get between the main rides, walking past empty space and bushes. When we got to the rides we had to wait for ages. For Monkey Falls (see the photo below), we had to wait for an hour and a half in the blazing sun. For the Cobra, the best ride in my opinion, a fast, twisting rollercoaster, we waited for 45 minutes. We manager to get on four rides in the four hours we were there. It seemed to make sense that there were huge queues when there weren't rides at every corner.

Even still, we had a lot of fun. Here is the photo we bought of us going down a hill on the Monkey Falls water rapid-type ride. We got very wet about 2 minutes later coming down the large finale.
