No way forgotten
On Wednesday our friends' mum passed away suddenly. She was taken into the emergency ward and apparently died from liver failure. She had had liposuction the previous week and it seemed it was a factor in her passing.
Yesterday, everyone was spaced out and very reflective. It is such a shock for someone to suddenly go like that. I have only met the mum a few times but still, the news that she had died was a great shock and very hard to absorb.
Today was a memorial service held for her. Work colleagues and friends gathered in the garden at the family's home. The service was wonderful and very emotional. It was an amazing day, very fitting for someone who is regarded as cheerful, friendly and a beautiful person.
Our best to the family, especially the girls who have to go on without their mum and friend.
