Workers working

Our new roof is taking shape. It is much higher than the old roof, a lot more than the 40cm as planned! Minna has been busy upstairs thinking about where the rooms should go. A tough job when it's carnage up there :)

Last night we had lots of rain and I was woken a few times by clunks, bangs and footsteps upstairs (very strange to hear as noone has ever been up there really) as Minna and Heikki scrambled to keep the house from leaking again. I don't think there were many leaks (if any) - good job M&H.

The thatchers were supposedly coming this week but I haven't seen them yet. It looks as though the outisde might be finished by the time James arrives in 16 days.
