The Night Raider

I was woken this morning by crying and a lot of movement out in the next room. One of the dogs (no doubt Megan - looked very guilty this morning) had made it into Matias' room during the night and had somehow disrupted the rat's cage so that they had got out. Pharaoh looked dead lying on the carpet and Basil was nowhere to be seen.

Basil was found soon after and Pharaoh, although seemingly paralyzed and very shocked, managed to have a short drink. They are now huddled in their little house and haven't moved since this morning.
