Leak

With the roof nearly off - tiles and slats are off from one side - and with some heavy rain over the weekend, we had some quite large leaking yesterday morning. It seems that the sheeting had shifted in the wind, allowing water to drip through ceiling fans and light fixings, as well as down walls and onto beds (Minna's !).

Leaks
Drips through the light fixing.... yum

The problem
The problem - you can see right through!

Temporary
Our temporary roof

It looks as though this week, when the rest of the roof will come off, and the builders start building the new roof, the weather will be sunny and warm.

Scaffolding is going up right now and I can hear loud bangs. Cement and bricks are being passed upwards from outside the kitchen. I'm looking forward to when there aren't 10 or so builders in the garden and it's quiet again :)
