Reading more

Now that I have a reasonable amount of time on my hands (and limited monthly Internet bandwidth), I am starting to read more. I am currently reading a book that Milja's grandma bought for me for Christmas, Hour Game by David Baldacci and have recently finished Velocity by Dean Koontz.

Yesterday I came across a really good book website which allows for neat organising/rating/commenting for books, aNobii (I haven't quite figured out what the name means...). I have added to my 'shelf' the books I have here in South Africa and which books I had read in Finland and left there. There is also a Wish List that you can add books to, which have links to Amazon to buy them (some are very cheap). There is also a section that recommends books to you and shows you other members who have similar 'shelves' as you. At the moment they have 9,554 books on record but this is always increasing.

I will try and use the site to increase the size of my book collection and therefore fill my days with more than watching pixels. And when the sun starts shining I will have an incentive to sit outside reading and getting a tan.

My aNobii page is here.

PS I can hear Minna singing along to James Blunt in her room from here, very nice Minna :D
